Target audience: Individuals aged 18 to 27, including students, recent graduates, and office professionals, characterized by their personal style, dynamic lifestyle, and mindset. They have a passion for culinary experiences, particularly dishes involving seafood.

Issues to address:

• Designing a layout for a 12-month calendar, accompanied by attractive packaging for gifting purposes, and integrating suitable entertaining materials.
• Creating eye-catching and cohesive packaging for red envelopes (lì xì) for the upcoming Lunar New Year in 2024, aligning with the visual theme of the calendar.
• Innovating the calendar's usability, introducing unique and distinctive features while maintaining practicality for the office workspace.

Presented abow is a moodboard for the calendar project, featuring a vectorized geometric illustration style, incorporating gradient effects and a balanced level of grain to create a sparkling light effect, akin to the sensory experience of tasting seafood dishes. Concurrently, it is essential to integrate visual motifs of Vietnamese fairies, symbolizing enchantment and richness in detail and attire. The typography will employ a legible typeface with delicate strokes and moderate contrast.

The things came up to my mind were how to define “ Fairy “ in Vietnamese Fairytale with contemporary illustration. Moreover, the Vietnamese street food ingredient is main material to illustrate the 12 Snail Fairies.

The selected font for the project is LC SAC TYPEFACE, known for its refined contrast and subtle sophistication. The decorative embellishments on the letters H, O, and U serve as distinctive focal points that accentuate the theme of fairies, adding a touch of elegance and grandeur to the design.

The overall dimensions : 14.5 cm x 16 cm.

The hanging cards are developed based on the insight of young individuals facing the common problems of "What should I eat today," . This cards aim to generate excitement and bring flexibility to their daily lives.

• Paper C, with a weight of 250gsm, printed using laser technology, and finished with a matte lamination on both sides.

The printing of the large-sized box will be executed using duplex paper, which consists of two layers bonded together. The paper weight chosen for this purpose is 250gsm, providing a sturdy and durable base for the box. To enhance its appearance and protect the print, a matte lamination will be applied.
